The Spike’s Tactical H.V.S. blast shield is designed to reduce concussion and outward blast commonly found with most muzzle brakes on the market. The H.V.S. blast shield makes the weapon system a lot more pleasant to shoot without totally eliminating the effectiveness of the muzzle break itself. The H.V.S. blast shield is designed to be used in COMBINATION with our Dynacomp H.V.S. or any other muzzle device with a 22mm x 1mm O.D. thread. The H.V.S. blast shield simply threads in place by hand and seats against the shoulder. It can be quickly installed or removed depending on the intended use. Your buddy’s at the range sure will thank you for being equipped with the H.V.S. blast shield when your shooting next to them in a confined area! The H.V.S. blast shield also protects the threads and muzzle device when a suppressor isn’t in use. The H.V.S. blast shield is NOT caliber specific, it’s only requirements are a 22mm x 1mm thread to screw on to.
